Edmonton Baby Photographer

Edmonton Baby Photographer. How sweet this little darling was!  So perfect and precious, Maeryn was the perfect little subject to photograph.  At just 8 days new, she was so curly and settled down expertly into her poses.  The macro image of her lips just grabs at my heart! Our YEG Newborn Photography team recommends photographing babies between 6-21 days after they are born. This gives the newborn time to establish feeding habits and parents time to settle at home. Beyond the three week mark after baby is born, photography sessions are trickier. Baby is more awake and is not as easy to pose in curled positions.

Newborn Blanket Pose

Maeryn is posed in womb position on the bean bag set. Neutral tones in the bean bag blanket as well as the newborn wrap and headband were chosen to coordinate. Soft textures and fabrics are always the best as they give a warm and cozy base for posing. In the image following, she is positioned in the bum-up pose on a blush pink blanket, and a white wrap and blush and white headband are used to add in an accent tone.

Baby Macro Photography

Using a special macro lens, our Edmonton Baby Photographer team is able to capture even the tiniest details. Fingers, toes, lips and noses are all requested details on babies that clients ask photographers to capture. Parents know that it won’t be long before those small little features will grow. We would love to hear from you about booking your newborn photography session at our Edmonton Photography Studio. Contact Us today!
