Edmonton Baby Photographer. Sweet little Juliet has grown so much since her newborn session! She was a delight to photograph at 9 months, milestone sessions may be my favourite, and watching our little clients grow is a privilege! Sitter sessions are the perfect time to catch smiles. Once baby is sitting independently, and preferably before they are crawling to fast or walking. During a newborn photography session, the ultimate goal is to ensure baby is sleeping peacefully so the photographer can pose them. The goal during a baby sitter session is to capture smiles and eye contact. While cake-smash sessions are fun, they are most always busier as babies are on the move.

Baby Photography Outfits

During a newborn session, outfits are difficult to photograph. Knit onesies work well, but otherwise, we don’t recommend dresses, jeans or button-up shirts. These are perfect though to wear for a sitter session. Stuffed toys or favourite blankets are often added in for personal touches. Parents are welcome to join in for some shots during our sitter sessions and our studio wardrobe is available for borrowing. Our Photography studio is conveniently located in South Edmonton, and is fully stocked with backdrops, set and baby photography outfits as well. Some of our favourite places to buy outfits are from Gap Kids, Zara Kids, or H&M Kids.
