Are we the Best Newborn Photographers in Edmonton?  That I cannot answer, but I can say that, with our clientele, we certainly are the luckiest!  As a momma of three boys, I feel especially privileged to document the arrival of this families fourth son. You would think four boys would be chaos, but these boys are all so gentle, sweet, and well behaved, and the family and sibling photography session was an absolute breeze!

This little guys momma messaged me about a week prior to his arrival, asking if we could do a heart picture set up with him.  It’s especially meaningful to her, as she is an amazing paediatric cardiologist here in Edmonton.  Well, timing sometimes works out perfectly, and about two weeks before this session we acquired a heart bowl prop.  I just love the image of Colin in the heart <3 

This is the second newborn I photographed for this family, after they move here about 2.5 years ago. for moms new job at the Stollery Children’s Hospital. The family wanted an add-on outdoor component to both newborn sessions. This summer has been our coolest and rainiest in years, luckily, we were blessed with a beautiful evening, the date of the outdoor newborn session.

This session was a premium newborn session, so it included several different props and sets, and 40 images. Our premium sessions have become quite popular with families that want a lot of props, and poses. This family chose a great combination of light and airy family images, with their studio colour base of creams and blues. For the outdoor newborn session, we took cues from the environment and styled our colours accordingly. You can view our different packages HERE!
