The most magical season of the year is just around the corner, and we’re thrilled to announce that Christmas Mini Sessions 2025 are now open at Maxine & Shellaine Photography! Every year we pour our hearts into creating warm, whimsical holiday sets that capture the spirit of Christmas, and this year may be our favourite yet.
Whether you’re updating family portraits, celebrating your little ones, or including the family dog in the festivities, our minis are designed to give you beautiful, timeless images without the stress of a long session.
These sessions are generally shot in November. so images are edited in time to be used for Christmas cards.

This year we’re offering multiple exclusive Christmas sets, each crafted to feel like stepping into a storybook. Our goal is to blend holiday magic with classic portraiture, rich tones, soft lights, and the cozy charm that has become our signature style.
The Christmas Bed Set

The Evergreen Arch Set
A stunning backdrop featuring a moody, dramatic black background with a glowing evergreen arch. It works beautifully for families, kids, and even pets. Think: elegant Christmas cards, polished portraits, and timeless holiday style.

Families with Dogs
Yes, we absolutely photograph dogs! From tiny pups to big gentle giants, your furry family members are welcome to join the fun. We know how to pose them, encourage them, and make them feel comfortable on set.
Babies
Sitting age only for solo sessions, or 3 months+with parents and/or siblings.

Christmas Minis are always in high demand and sell out quickly every year. To ensure everyone gets the time they need, sessions are limited and by appointment only, the link to book is:

You’ll receive:
- A beautifully styled 2025 Christmas set of your choice (choose one or both!)
- A 15–25 minute session
- A curated selection of edited digital images
- Two backgrounds and packages to choose from.
Packages start at $200 for one background, and 3 people.
