Cake Smash Photographers

Maxine and Shellaine recommend this milestone photoshoot! The most common time for a cake smash session is a little one’s first birthday. This photoshoot is the perfect opportunity to document such a big milestone. The team at Maxine and Shellaine’s studio love to capture your one year old in a set or two before the smash set. Snapping a photo or two (or 10) of your family is another set possibility. 

The Cake Smash

This set is always up in the air. One thing is for sure, your baby will either smile, cry, eat, demolish, or all of the above during their smash set. Another fun fact is that this is a memorable photoshoot. Babies that have never had cake or icing before either love or hate it. Either way, the expressions captured are priceless. Some first birthday babes eat their cakes with grace, others destroy it with passion. It is the perfect opportunity to capture their emerging personalities! 

The Bubble or Milk Bath

Lastly, the bubble or milk bath set! One of the favourites sets doubles as the chance to wash away the sticky icing. Most babies love baths, or at least playing with bubbles. This set lends to smiles, splashes and then a tired munchkin.
