Edmonton Newborn Photography Workshop. We are happy to be teaching a newborn and maternity workshop through Burwell School of Photography. Two weeks ago we had our third workshop, and it was a wonderful weekend for us and our fabulous attendees, with 2 sweet newborns and a lovely maternity model.
Little Emory was the first model on Saturday, and he was so patient while we were teaching posing and lighting. All the attendees were able to photograph him, he was the perfect subject!
What will you learn if you take our workshop?
First we will show you all our equipment (camera, lenses, lights and more!), settings, and all the other gear we use for newborn sessions. Next we cover baby safety, soothing, and then on to the fun part! We have two newborn models come in, so you learn posing and lighting, then you will have the opportunity to photograph the little subjects yourself, and learn how to create great images in camera. With our maternity model we teach posing and lighting, (once again attendees will get to photograph the model) and then on to editing. We also briefly cover some of the business aspects of running a busy photography studio. It is a full weekend of learning and growing as a photographer and artist, and you will walk away with the tools to feel confident to photograph newborns on your own.
We have more workshops coming up, including a maternity-only one day workshop May 28th 2016, and two newborn workshops scheduled for June 11th & 12th 2016 and October 22nd & 23rd 2016.
