Why Newborn Photography Photos?

The first few weeks are a blur. Before you know it, the newborn stage is over. For instance, tiny diapers and sleepers are quickly outgrown. This is why the first three weeks of arrival are best for portraits. During this stage, baby sleeps…a lot!  Sleeping babies are required for a calm, relaxed session. Parents and siblings are also more at ease when baby is not fussing. Memories are treasures, so capture them. And, no one has ever said “You took way too many pictures of my growing child!”

Newborn photography style options are personal.  And, lifestyle and posed studio sessions are just two of them. Sessions that take place in a clients home are convenient. Here, clients are captured in the comfort of their home. As well, in-home sessions are a nice option for less formal photos. Lifestyle sessions are guided, but usually less posed. However, in-home sessions do not have the same options as a studio. Compared to lifestyle, posed sessions are very hands-on. Consistent light and set design are also provided in a studio.  Since design is custom to each client, different props and backdrops are used. Another studio perk is client wardrobe. Not having to stress about what to wear is helpful. In short, decide what style of newborn art you like. Browse various portfolios, and find one that speaks to you. Photography Packages

Portraits are an investment. And, while the digital era is amazing, always think ahead. Do you want your images living in cyberspace? Remember, photo products make perfect keepsakes (and gifts)! Always ensure your preference for products and/or digital format is available. Also, confirm who is included in each package. Do all packages include parents and/or siblings? Maxine and Shellaine ensure to capture older siblings on their own too. Fur siblings are nice to add in as well. Ensure a studio is pet friendly upfront. Consider grandparents too. Extended family photos are always well-loved. But, more subjects requires a larger package for the best results. View Maxine and Shellaine’s Newborn Packages
