As newborn photographers, we absolutely love our jobs!  A huge part of every session is soothing baby, and Shellaine and I (and our wonderful assistants, Kendra and Julianne) are baby whisperers of sorts. Lately we have had a few clients worry that baby will not cooperate for their session. While all baby’s temperaments do vary, we employ a few tricks for keeping baby comfortable, and we generally have very successful sessions. Even the seemingly fussiest baby can usually get through the session, sleepily, when you choose the right professional! We take cues from baby, as not all baby’s favour all poses, but we always shoot until we have a full album.

This little guys mother was a little worried about how her sweet little guy would do, but he did absolutely perfectly! Nothing to worry about! He was quite comfortable in studio, and we had a great session together. They even brought their very sweet family dog in for a few shots. Congratulations on their new addition!
