Edmonton Newborn Photographer | A Beautiful Baby Boy Newborn Session

There is something incredibly special about photographing a family’s very first days with their new baby. These moments are filled with quiet cuddles and sleepy snuggles. We love documenting the overwhelming joy that comes with welcoming a new little life into the world.

This sweet baby boy visited our Edmonton studio for his newborn session, and from the moment he arrived, he was an absolute dream to photograph. With his full head of beautiful dark hair, he settled beautifully into each setup, allowing us to create a gallery full of timeless memories for his family.

One of the things we love most about newborn photography is creating a session that reflects each family’s style. For this session, we incorporated soft blue tones, both light. Mom brought their wardrobe, and I love the blue theme of the entire session. Hair and make up done by the talented Kaitlin of Upstairs Glamour.

The blue floral heart bowl became one of our favourite setups. It perfectly framed this little guy while keeping the focus on his tiny features, sleepy expression, and those adorable little toes. We also created several classic wrapped portraits using our signature styling, including one of our favourite floral swing setups that beautifully complements the rich wood backdrop.

Of course, no newborn session is complete without family photographs. Watching mom and dad hold their baby with so much love and pride is always one of the most meaningful parts of the day. These are often the photographs families treasure the most as the years pass. And their sweet pups joined us for a couple shots as well!

We work together before your session to choose colours and styling that fit your family’s vision while creating timeless portraits you’ll love for decades.

When Should You Book Your Newborn Session?

The best time to reserve your newborn session is during your second trimester. We schedule your session based on your due date and adjust once your baby arrives.

Most newborn portraits are photographed within the first two weeks after birth. This is when babies are naturally sleepier and still love curling into those sweet newborn poses. If your baby has already arrived, don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re always happy to check our availability.
