Shhhhhhhhh….sleeping baby in the studio! The ultimate goal of an experienced newborn photographer is to create a peaceful, calming and of course relaxing atmosphere during the photo session (the key to sleep is a warm, quiet environment, and of course a full belly).

So, how does an experienced newborn photographer do this? First of all, location is a huge factor, finding the perfect Edmonton based studio was no easy task. Luckily for us, we have found the sweetest new home for our business. We truly feel like we won the lottery as it is in a fabulous location, and yet seems to shelter the noise of our busy city. To further muffle commotion, we like to relax to the soothing sounds of the ocean waves (especially in our cold Alberta winters, who doesn’t want to come into a cozy space, close their eyes, and pretend they are basking in a tropical vacation?!)

Yes moms and dads, you can prepare for your session by dressing in layers, we crank the heat up to a comfortable, yet balmy temperature…a cold baby is not a happy one. With the lights dimmed, the curtains drawn, and the soft shushing, many tired parents will also snag a few winks. And just like that, our sweet littlest clients are lulled into dreamland while we creatively produce our custom art for you to treasure long after the days of sleepless nights are over.
