Maxine and Shellaine are considered to be the best newborn photographers in Edmonton. They wanted to share some of the images from this little guy’s photo session. This newborn session was actually held here in Edmonton; however it was not a typical session. Maxine and Shellaine were mentoring a student who flew all the way across Canada to learn newborn photography! It was a fun-filled but also very busy day as they photographed two beautiful newborn babies here at their Edmonton studio. As mentioned before, this sweet baby is just absolutely adorable and couldn’t resist posting!
As Best Newborn Photographers in Edmonton, Maxine and Shellaine focus on giving each client a wonderful experience. By being located in South Edmonton, we are all about convenience. Our studio is equipped with snacks and refreshments. A separate viewing area is available, away from the heat. Parents can sit comfortably and watch the magic happen through the double French doors! Props are provided and wardrobe is available for borrowing, so there is no need to stress! We even bring in professional hair and makeup artists from the wonderfully talented ladies at Blush Artistry for those momma’s who would like to be pampered before their photo debut!
When is the best time to contact us?
Most clients book in their second semester, especially if they also want to capture tender maternity moments. We record momma’s due date in our expecting momma’s calendar. We only take a certain amount of bookings in a specified time period so that we ensure clients receive the best attention. When photographing maternity sessions we typically book our moms in between 28-36 weeks! Our newborns are usually photographed within the first three weeks after birth. However, we are happy to take newborn portraits up to 6 weeks. Our clients come to us from in and around the Greater Edmonton Area, but we have also had clients drive a few hours to come visit us!
What if I have already had my baby?
No worries, there are two primary photographers and we also have a wonderful assistant. Give us a shout and we will try our best to fit you in.
