They have a variety of coloured blankets, from cream to beige, to browns, greys and more! While most props are very neutral toned, the layers and accents that can be added can create a theme. Whether you would like greenery or faux flowers for your newborn session, Maxine and Shellaine can accommodate you! 

How they determine your preferences

When you book with Maxine and Shellaine they will send you a session preference questionnaire. You can then let them know what colours and themes you would like for your session. It also has a space in on the questionnaire where they ask who will be attending the session. This is where you can indicate if you would like to include siblings, or fur-babies in your newborn session. 

Including pets in your newborn session

Thats right, pups are welcome! Maxine and Shellaine shoot newborn sessions with animals. We know how important our fur babies can be, and love being able to include them in the session. 

Most of the time we composite images with pets. That means that the baby and dog(s) aren’t on set at the same time. The newest family member can cause excitement, so for babies safety we shoot them on the set separately.
