Finally I am posting this personal branding session in Edmonton. Nicole is a good friend, and talented Edmonton photographer. She needed some web and social media images including professional headshots and some casual and friendly branding images. Branding sessions can include a variety of backgrounds and themes depending on what the client is looking for. For this session we chose to shoot some headshots in Starbucks, some professional headshots in studio, and some casual and friendly branding images, also in our natural light studio.

We started in studio with the amazing Kaitlin from Blush Artistry Edmonton doing Nicole’s hair and make up. Not that she isn’t beautiful already, but the Blush ladies definitely know how to make a girl feel extra polished and pretty! Then we moved outside for a few images, before doing a couple headshots in Starbucks (our favourite 124st location, that we frequented, but has sadly since shut down!) That location had the sweetest natural light. We will surely miss it. 

Lastly back to the studio to capture Nicole at work, with her camera and computer. I was pleased at the combination we achieved of traditional headshots and then also welcoming images that represent her brand.
