I loved shooting this gorgeous gals One year shoot and cake smash! Our cake smash sessions in our Edmonton studio can include family, then a few baby sets, then the cake smash. Due to allergies we always have parents provide their own cake, and this momma found a gorgeous white and pink ombre cake. It coordinated very well with our pink and peach floral background.

Both momma and babe’s wardrobe (and baby’s gorgeous floral halo) were borrowed from our Edmonton studio wardrobe, that we have available for clients, even during covid. At this time we are doing extra washing, cleaning and isolating of fabrics, to keep our clients safe. As part of our One year session and cake smash we offer the option of including family in the portraits. 

Is she not the cutest?! I met her parents for the first time at their maternity session, which we shot both in our light and airy studio, and outside. They then brought her back for her newborn session, then this lovely cake smash, and lastly they returned the following week for a Christmas shoot! She is such a happy little one, and we feel so privileged capturing this first year of her life!
